Every year in early October, we setup the big tents on Marktplatz for three days of Oktoberfest. German traditions of music, games, food and drink are celebrated in an effort reproduce the Bavarian sense of gemütlichkeit.

Park & Ride

The Fredericksburg Oktoberfest Park & Ride offers convenient parking by providing riders with all day park & ride access between the Gillespie County Fairgrounds parking area and the Oktoberfest festival, located at Marktplatz, downtown Fredericksburg. For more information and to purchase tickets for the park & ride, visit www.oktoberfestparkandride.com

Oktoberfest Park & Ride runs Friday and Saturday only, you will be able to purchase admission tickets to Oktoberfest and universal tickets (good for food, beverages and kids area) at the Park & Ride site at the Fairgrounds.

Festival Hours

Gates open at 6pm on Friday; Saturday at 10am and Sunday at 11am. Oktoberfest closes at 12 Midnight on Friday and Saturday and at 6pm on Sunday.

Friday, Saturday or Sunday: Adults, $15 / Ages 7-12, $1 / Under 6 free
Multiple Days: Adults, 2-day passes $20 / 3-day passes $25, Ages 7-12, 2-day passes $2 / 3-day passes $3

Food and Drink

Food and drinks are sold on the grounds. Visitors are prohibited from bringing ice chests, beer, wine or liquor onto the festival grounds or from leaving with beer or wine.

Parking is available, but limited, around Marktplatz.
